Bill of Fare, Part 1
As 2011 breaks free in all its glory, Ashelynn Manor looks forward to providing our brides with some stellar planning and coordination for their special day. Part of that is helping you plan some amazing food, and there are plenty of unique ideas and themes out there to consider, so we thought we’d round up a few ideas for the New Year to get you started.
For the Love of Italy
Pasta never loses its flair and is such a complimentary dish for so many occasions. It can be dressed up or down, made simple or grandiose and easily produce to serve a small group or a large reception. Whether you’re going for a warm and rustic appeal for your event, or simply a classic-style menu, consider familiar Italian dishes like lasagna, spaghetti or ravioli for your upcoming function.
The Sweet Spot
Speaking of desserts, if you’re planning a wedding, birthday party or any other event that typically requires a cake for the final course, think again! Cupcakes were a huge trend for so long, and still are for some, but pies are making a comeback and we’re on board with the yummy treats. Consider sweet and/or savory fillings for a festive take on a traditional dessert your guests will rave about.
