When you first begin planning your wedding, it’s important to come up with a theme. This gives you a sort of foundation, a base to build on as you assemble your big day at Ashelynn Manor. The theme can be a specific color palette, a logo, or it can be based on a certain experience. Some couples have even been motivated by their school colors, like one pair that chose burgundy and ivory as their palette—the groom was an Aggie from Texas A&M, and the bride a Bobcat from Texas State University. Maroon was a trademark hue for both schools. Our venue lends itself to a rustic sort of charm, easily complemented by a number of colors. Ashelynn Manor is situated on 25 beautiful acres, complete with a white manor house, gazebo, carriage house, white vintage chapel and more.
Once a theme or color palette has been selected, the next step is to begin incorporating a sequence of branding materials throughout the wedding. Many couples choose to develop a logo to accompany their wedding theme. Oftentimes it’s their monogram or the first letter of their shared last name, which can be elaborated on with fancy fonts or two-toned colors. But creating an actual image is also an option—and with all the technology, clipart, programs and designers available today, it’s a cinch to get exactly what you’re looking for. Talk to your favorite graphics or blog designer or exchange ideas with your invitations vendor on how to create the branding graphic that says it all.
At Ashelynn Manor, there are endless opportunities to display your selected brand. It could be posters or signs propped in our grand foyer, or special favors complemented with your graphic displayed on the back porch of the manor. Even our elegant white gazebo—which lights up so romantically at night—is an ideal stakeout for banners, flags, floral monograms and more. We’re ready and waiting to host your big day.
